We went to our first competition on October 25th! It was actually just a practice tournament. But, it helped us understand how the games are going to work in real match. It was really exciting! Even though we lost a few matches, the matches we did win were BIG! Since our lead driver, Satvik, wasn’t here, the people who couldn’t drive quickly became the next F1 racers (Dhyan and Parth). We learned a lot of new tactics, like how far the robot should be from the scoring pit. There were some problems, like how one of the wheels got stuck on a screw, but that actually HELPED US! Dhyan was stilling figuring out how to drive it, when the wheel swerved and slammed the robot against the other alliance’s score pit, and flicked their lever, making all of their artifacts roll out and not get counted! We won by 1 POINT that round! It was really cool and funny!
