About Our Robot
This our first robot for the BioBuzz Season. Keep in mind that this design will update throughout the season. We built it with a combination of GoBilda’s starter bot and our design. We included a basic intake and transfer system powered by DC Motors and 4 mecanum wheels.
Planning
We built this robot during the 6 Hour Challenge (check our blog for more information). We spent a week and a half designing the robot, and made improvements as we built the robot. We built on the GoBilda starter bot and used primarily GoBilda parts to make the robot. We also 3D printed the intake and transfer system using Onshape. And a funny story for this design. When we went to the 6 hour challenge, we realized, we forgot the transfer ramp at home, so we used a Dominoes pizza box as a ramp.
